This page explains how GenEraZions uses data for advertising and marketing, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Marketing and advertising data we use

A device advertising identifier — Apple's IDFA on iOS or the Google Advertising ID on Android.
Your IP address and approximate (coarse) region.
App and website interaction and diagnostic data used to deliver and measure ads.
If you join our beta from this website, the email address and phone platform you submit.

We do not use your gameplay history, friends, or purchase activity for ad targeting.

Ads in the app (Google AdMob)

GenEraZions is free to play and supported by ads served through Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). To show and measure ads, Google and its partners may process your advertising identifier, IP address, and app interaction and diagnostic data. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Ads on this website

Our website also shows ads through Google AdSense, which may set cookies and use your device and browser data to serve and measure ads. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings and control cookies in your browser.

GenEraZions Pro removes ads

GenEraZions Pro is an optional subscription that removes ads. Purchases are processed by RevenueCat and the app stores; we do not receive your full payment-card details, and your subscription and purchase data are not used for third-party ad targeting. See the Terms of Service for subscription details.

Personalized ads and your controls

Personalized ads use prior activity to infer interests; non-personalized ads use only contextual and coarse signals. You can control this at any time:

Android — reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads.
iOS — manage tracking and your Apple advertising settings in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Anywhere, including the EEA and UK — manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

Email and the beta signup

When you join our beta on this website, we collect your email address and phone platform to contact you about the beta and launch — for example, to send a TestFlight or Google Play invitation. We do not sell or rent your email, and we use it only for these updates. To be removed from the list, email privacy@generazions.app and we'll remove you promptly.

Other services

We use Supabase to run our backend and Sentry to collect crash and diagnostic reports so we can fix bugs. These are used to operate and improve the game, not for advertising.

We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell your personal information. Sharing data with the ad services above to show you ads may qualify as a “sale” or “share” under some US state laws; depending on where you live you may have the right to opt out. To exercise your rights, email privacy@generazions.app.

Children

GenEraZions is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly serve personalized ads to children.
