By downloading, installing, or using GenEraZions ("the App") you agree to these Terms, which form a legally binding agreement between you and Optimistic Media LLC. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The App is intended for users 13 years of age and older. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. If we learn a user does not, we may terminate the account and delete its data.
GenEraZions is a cross-generation pop-culture trivia game. You can play matches across different generations/eras, compete in matchmaking and hosted rooms, appear on leaderboards, earn points and in-game virtual currency (coins), and connect with friends.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, complete information when you register.
You agree not to:
In-game coins and virtual items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable and non-refundable except where required by law. We may manage, regulate, modify, or eliminate them at any time. Your license to use virtual items ends when your account closes or the service is discontinued.
You are responsible for your username, display name, and avatar selection, and you grant Optimistic Media LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display them to other players in the app. We may remove or reset any username, display name, or content that violates these Terms.
GenEraZions Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks an ad-free experience and other benefits. It is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play via RevenueCat. Pricing, billing period, and auto-renewal are shown at purchase; it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your app store account settings. Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or app store policy.
We use technical safeguards to prevent tampering with scores, coins, or privileges, and we investigate suspected cheating, collusion, or abuse. Enforcement may include resetting results, adjusting or removing coins, and suspending or permanently terminating accounts.
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated here by reference. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
You can delete your account and data in-app via Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing support@generazions.app. Upon deletion your data is removed from our systems unless retention is required for legal or security purposes.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Optimistic Media LLC's total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the past 12 months.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Optimistic Media LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the App or by updating the "Effective" date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
